Review:
Bobo Lobo is a great stylish Latin themed cocktail bar with a vibrant atmosphere and live DJs most nights of the week. It does suffer a bit on scoring due to its very high prices and limited range of beers, there are a couple of good lagers but this place offers more in the way of fancy cocktails than anything else. On the ground floor is the pleasingly lit bar area leading back to a conservatory extension which makes up the dance floor, it’s all very compact and if you do need to use the facilities be prepared to trek up three flights of stairs to an attic toilet. By day they serve food so it’s mainly a seated bar, but a lot of these are removed as it gets later into the night. They do have a very small area out the front of the bar with a couple of seats but no significant space really, and with the steep entrance steps, narrow bar and many flights of stairs it’s not the best for ease of access. What they do have though is a consistent 2am licence making Bobo Lobo a great late night alternative as long as you’re into your spirits and feeling rather flush.
