-The Graduate-
Review:
The Graduate is a rowdy sports bar located on the busy thoroughfare of Lendal, spanning several buildings it can feel rather cavernous within. It has been well kept over the years with regular decor refreshes but the stain of chain pub is hard to remove despite it's pleasant enough interior. The two main buildings are split with seating to the left hand side with the right side holding the huge bar. It's not a bad selection of beer available including some of the more widely known craft beers and the prices are pretty good too. Probably why it's so heavily frequented by students and a rather rawkus clientele. Don't expect a quiet drink in here, it's more of a meeting point for visitors to the City. The toilets are well kept for such a busy venue and are situate on the lower ground floor along with another bar and access out to their small beer garden, which is welcome outside space but pretty hemmed in by high walls. There's plenty to keep you entertained though, with regular live sport and a pool table too, it's just really not our sort of pub but it does fills a requirement for those that do like corporate places like this.
